Hand Sealers (Table Top Sealers) -- are easy to operate. No necessary warm up. Simply set the adjustable timer based on film structure and film thickness, insert bag between the base and the upper jaw then press down. Release upper jaw 1-2 seconds after the timer light goes out (recommended for cooling the film and for better seal result and for prolonging the life of the element). Recommended maximum film thickness is 6 mil. Hand held sealer with cutter allows a trim after the seal. Seal and trim tubing into bags in one easy step. Simply slide the knife across the upper handle to create a 1/4" trim after each seal.
Replacement Kits -- From time to time and depending on usage the wire element and Teflon cloths will need to be replaced. Replacement kits are available for purchase. Replacement Kits inculde two upper Teflon covers, two lower Teflon covers with adhesive, and two sealing elements. Replacement Kits for sealers with cutters includes one additional blade.
